Dr. Parker, a specialist in gastroenterology, has joined Woodholme Gastroenterology Associates, a LifeBridge Health partner. Prior to joining Woodholme Gastroenterology Associates, Dr. Parker served our country impressively earning a Bronze Star, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, and Nato Medal. During his deployment, Dr. Parker served as a field surgeon in the Wardak Providence of Afghanistan. He also worked as an internal medicine provider and flight surgeon at the USAHC, Patch Health Clinic in Stuttgart, Germany.
Dr. Parker earned his B.S. in biology from Morehouse College and his Doctor of Medicine degree from Howard University. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the Dwight D. Eisenhower Medical Center in Fort Gordon, Georgia, and his gastroenterology fellowship at the Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas.
He is a member of the National Medical Association, American College of Physicians, American College of Gastroenterology, American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, Texas Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and the Hawaii Gastroenterological Society.
